In the final years of Elementary School, Builders students embark on a period of significant discovery — intellectual, emotional, and social. This phase is marked by identity formation and openness to the world, requiring attentive listening and a curriculum that is meaningful and relevant.
Nesta etapa, o aluno é instigado a fazer perguntas, observar, investigar e experimentar.
At this stage of school life, interdisciplinary projects are at the heart of our pedagogical process. They arise from integrated planning between advisors and the pedagogical team, connecting the contents of the National Common Curricular Base and the Common Core to real-world issues — locally, nationally, and globally. Through these projects, students learn critically, collaboratively, and practically, developing competencies that extend far beyond the classroom.
Assessments are continuous and varied, ensuring that each student’s learning journey is monitored individually and respectfully. We use multiple tools — including observations, student work, self-assessments, tests, and presentations — to recognize and value different ways of learning and expressing knowledge.
Each class is supported by a dedicated tutor who guides students in their ethical, socio-emotional, and academic development. Philosophy and Ethics classes are rooted in students’ experiences, addressing major questions that engage and mobilize humanity.

It is a school that dialogues with the family, promoting the presence of the family in curricular and extracurricular activities; conducts in a very harmonious and respectful way the conflicts that arise among students, helping them in dialogue, respect and coexistence with differences; provides learning based on experience and seeking information, building a sense of autonomy and exploration; and finally, an impeccable teaching staff not only in technical competence, but especially in the loving, kind and respectful conduct with the individuality of each child.
Our daughter has been part of Builders since she was 2 years and 8 months old. We love the school because it has the values we believe in, education through welcoming, conversation, concern for the environment, etc. We highly recommend it.
Builders has always been an extremely welcoming environment for our family. Since Pedro entered K2 in 2018, I have noticed, on a daily basis, how education through love transforms the children's experience. Learning happens in a truly meaningful way, through projects that they themselves develop since Early Childhood Education. This allows them to become protagonists of their own knowledge.
As a mother of two children who study at Builders, one 7 years old and the other 4, I feel enormous gratitude for having found a school that truly welcomes, teaches and transforms. From day one, I noticed the team's affection and commitment to providing a safe, stimulating and meaningful environment for children. Builders' constructivist approach makes all the difference. Here, my children not only learn content, but develop autonomy, critical thinking and confidence to explore the world around them. Bilingual immersion teaching has been an incredible experience, making English something natural in their daily lives. In addition, the concern with emotional development and sustainability values directly reflects in the way they see and interact with people and the environment. Seeing my children going happily to school every day, curious and motivated, gives me the certainty that they are in the right place. I am very grateful to Builders for providing such a welcoming, inspiring and transformative space!
